Tina has been practicing Yoga for 9 years and teaching for the last 5 years. Tina initially took Yoga to help manage her running injuries and since that time has come to appreciate what yoga can offer physically and mentally. Her vision of Yoga for Everyone is to encourage people who have a stereotypical vision of Yoga to give it another chance. We all live in a world where there are lessons to be learned, challenges to overcome and bodies we must live with. And in our society, we must all learn how to manage stress or pay the price. This means we can all benefit from Yoga. Tina has her Yoga Teacher Certification and her Yoga for Therapy Certification from India. She also has completed numerous training workshops and specializes in Yoga for Runners, Yoga for Golfers, Kids Yoga, Family Yoga and Intermediate classes. Tina is the owner of the OSO Yoga Centres in London and Ailsa Craig and is a part time Telecommunications Consultant. She also enjoys running, biking swimming, squash, hiking, skiing, golfing and the outdoors in general. |

Nikki Pauwels Yoga was a natural extension for Nikki's interest in all things mind/body upon completing her Registered Massage Therapy training at The D'arcy Lane Institute in 1998. In 1999, shortly after her first son was born she began studying the Iyengar method of yoga and continues to study this method today. Since 2006, upon her introduction to Anusara yoga, Nikki has completed hundreds of hours of Anusara training with various Anusara yoga teachers including John Friend, founder of Anusara Yoga, and Todd Norian and Ann Green of Deep Peace Yoga. She incorporates the Anusara principles into classes to ensure safe and therapeutic movement. Just this year Nikki completed Swami Nityamuktananda's 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training. Nikki's classes are as dynamic as she is and she loves to share her passion for yoga. Everyone is welcome in her classes!! |
